Ms. Kappock by Katie Vroman

My whole life I have never liked math. Freshman year I hated math, and then sophomore year came. I was excited when I found out that I had you because my brother had previously had you and said you were a great teacher. Going into algebra I was afraid of failing, I was afraid of being in a class with older people, and I was afraid I wouldn’t like you. But boy was I wrong. You were and have been the best teacher that i have had in my four years of high school. You truly cared about every single student in your class and really wanted each and every one of us to succeed. Even when I didn’t understand the material you would work with me until I got it down and really understood it. Thank you for that. I really liked coming into your class everyday and talking with you. Your class in the only one I specifically remember from sophomore year and I remember looking forward to going to your class everyday. I appreciate how you were always there for me and if I needed someone to talk to I always knew I could come to you. Thank you for not only being a great teacher but also being a great person in general.
