Certain teachers don’t really get much appreciation and I find that so sad in today’s age. I believe that teachers give us a purpose in life, a path to follow to adulthood. All teachers know that they choose their profession not for the money, but for the passion they have for teaching a certain subject like history, math, etc. It takes dedication to handle more than 150+ kids and I respect you for putting up the effort to teach. My sophomore year of high school I had you as my teacher and I loved you class with a passion. 2nd period was always my go to class because you made history so interesting. The way you taught us made me feel like I was actually learning. Going through the American Civil War, and slavery was so fun because you made it that way. Instead of taking notes I would just listen and take your test and always get an A on them. I would always go home and think about what you taught because I was just so fascinated and you always got through to me. You made me want to pursue history in college because its the only subject that ever interested me and you expanded on my knowledge about American history. I wish all the teachers showed as much passion as you always showed and I appreciate all the hard work you did for me, and all the other students.
