Winter track season is back and ready to start winning under the coaching of Mr. Briggs. Briggs had been coaching Winter track for 10 years. In those 10 years Coach Briggs has won the coach of the year for the 2014-2015 season. In these ten years of coaching he has had a good reputation and has success.

Last year the team had many individuals on the team qualify for states and Coach Brigg said that he would like to get as many individuals as he had last year to qualify for states.The team has seniors Jake Conig and Ciara Roche that will be looking for to step up in their last season for Freehold Township. Coach Briggs outlook’s for this season is “Looking forward to the boys and girls putting out their consistent effort day in and day out in hopes of accomplishing all of their goals for their season.”. Along with that he also said that he wants to be as competitive as they were last year.

Some of the key matchups that there will be this season for the boys is against CBA and for the girls it will be against RBC. These match ups will not be easy, so the team has to be ready.Their first meet of the season for the team is on December 21, 2015 at the Toms River Bubble, so come out and support the team at their first meet.
