This week I’m going to be doing two recipes because it’s the week of Thanksgiving and I always bake a lot around this time of year!

The first recipe is very simple peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, this only involves five ingredients and it’s also gluten-free!

I started by preheating the oven to 350°. Then I packed the light brown sugar into the cup and poured it into a medium-sized bowl. I then scooped out the peanut butter into the same measuring cup and used a rubber scraper to put it in the bowl as well. Then I added the egg and baking soda and mixed them all together with the rubber scraper! After everything was blended nicely, I poured in some chocolate chips. After that, I used two spoons to scoop small balls of dough onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure that there is a fair amount of space between each cookie so that they don’t merge into each other! I then baked for about 10 minutes!

RECIPE:

1 cup light brown sugar

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 egg

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ cup chocolate chips

The next recipe is something that I think everyone loves, brownies! I have been searching for the perfect brownie recipe for a long time now and I finally found it!

I started by preheating the oven to 350°. I then lined a 9×9 pan with aluminum foil. I started by melting the butter. While the butter melted I mixed together the cocoa powder, flour, salt and baking powder and set that aside. Once the butter was melted, I poured it into my kitchen aid mixer along with the sugar and vanilla. I beat that together until it was all blended. After that, I beat in one egg at a time. I then gradually added in the dry ingredients with the mixer on low speed until that was all blended. You can add nuts, chocolate chips, or anything else you’d like! I then poured the brownie batter into the lined pan and baked for 45 minutes! Once the brownies are done, I lifted the brownies out of the pan by grabbing each side of the aluminum foil and put them on a plate to cool for five minutes. Lastly, I cut them into 16 pieces!

RECIPE:

¾ cup unsalted butter (1 and ½ stick)

1 ½ cup white sugar

1 ½ teaspoon vanilla

3 eggs

¾ cup flour

½ cup cocoa powder

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt
