Hey guys! Me again, and today I’m gonna tell you all my top 5 favorite holiday movies! Let’s go!
5. Daddy’s Home 2
This is one of my cult classic Christmas movies, and I remember watching this in theaters when I was younger and loving it. I can’t wait to rewatch this! One of the funniest Christmas movies I’ve ever seen, and I love everything about it. I didn’t really enjoy the first Daddy’s Home, but this one is a lot funnier and a lot less annoying. What a joy of a movie!

4. Violent Night
This is a wonderful action comedy where Santa is the hero. David Harbour is excellent in this role and great for it because of his intensity. This is one of my favorite Christmas movies, and I definitely agree that I love Violent Night. It’s basically Home Alone meets John Wick! Tommy Wirkola has a very creative mind in terms of action and knows how to make a blast of a movie! I can see why people don’t tend to like the family as much, but I honestly overlook that because this is such a fun movie.

3. Home Alone
I’ve seen this movie more times than I can count, and it never gets old. Great scenery, adorableness, originality, and writing. Macaulay Culkin shines so much in this movie and deserves the millions he earned for the role of Kevin McCallister. Joe Pesci goes from a sailor-mouthed presence in Scorsese films to biting his tongue here. John Hughes is a national treasure, and this movie needs no introduction.

2. The Holdovers
This is such a sad, poignant, funny, and beautiful film! If this movie doesn’t make you feel anything, you’re heartless. The characters are so lovable, and you feel for all of them. This is a ’70s-style film. The twists and turns are so heartwarming, heartbreaking, and wondrous, and Paul Giamatti is fantastic in this role. Dominic Sessa is also outstanding. No crazy VFX or explosions in this film—just great filmmaking and pure emotion. If you haven’t seen The Holdovers, this is an absolute must!

1. Elf
This is simply my favorite Christmas movie ever. There’s heart and soul, Will Ferrell is hilarious, and it’s just an incredible seasonal movie. I love every minute of this movie, and everybody in the cast is amazing. There’s a little bit of everything in this movie. This and Iron Man are tied as my favorite movies from Jon Favreau. It’s funny for all, Zooey Deschanel is really good as the love interest, Bob Newhart is great as usual, and so is James Caan. All in all, this is another Christmas movie that doesn’t need an introduction, and I can watch this every day and not get bored.
