Hey guys! It’s me, AJ, again, and today I’m gonna do something I don’t typically do. I’m gonna be telling you my top three favorite albums of 2025. Now, I don’t listen to too many albums and EPs, but let’s get into it!
3. Don’t Tap the Glass
In case you guys do not know, Tyler, the Creator is my second favorite rapper, right alongside Kendrick Lamar, and I loved this album. It’s very catchy and is really an easy album to vibe with, despite some tracks being rather hard to listen to if you’re not a fan. It does a bunch of genre-bending, just like a lot of Tyler’s discography. Some of the songs are very quirky and melodic in their own way, and they’re still bangers nonetheless. Overall, I really liked Don’t Tap the Glass.
Favorite Track: I’ll Take Care of You
Least Favorite Track: Mommanem

2. A Matter of Time by Laufey I’m also a huge Laufey fan, and I love jazz. It’s a relaxing thing I listen to while I’m working, and this album is no exception. I adored this album from start to finish. It’s very emotional and super powerful—probably her most powerful yet—showcasing depths of emotion that her singing doesn’t often access. Sure, there are some questionable choices, but still, I really loved A Matter of Time.
Favorite Track: Too Little Too Late
Least Favorite Track: Cuckoo Ballet Interlude

1. What No One’s Thinking by AJR AJR is one of my favorite artists/bands and is genuinely so underrated. This EP is freaking magical! I loved this EP so much—some of their best stuff, I could go so far as to say. It gives a nice road trip vibe throughout a lot of the EP and is more sincere and stripped back than all their other work. Each track on this EP is an absolute banger. Overall, I absolutely LOVED What No One’s Thinking.
Favorite Track: The Big Goodbye
Least Favorite Track: I’m Sorry You Went Crazy
