“I think this is our best year by far because we have known each other for longer and know the competition better.”

What has been your favorite BOTC memory so far, either in practice or on event day?
“My favorite BOTC memory has to be our first practice this year because we were all excited and ready to get BOTC started.”

What is your team’s biggest aspect of improvement for the 2025 Battle of the Classes, and what measures have you taken to fix it?
“I feel like our costumes are our biggest improvement this year because last year our idea was kind of basic, but this year I don’t think anyone would’ve expected this idea.”

What’s your hype song for this year’s edition? Has it changed or remained the same from last year?
“My hype song for this year would have to be ‘Dreams and Nightmares’ by Meek Mill.”

Ariana Squillace

“I am new to the team so I can’t quite say.”

What has been your favorite BOTC memory so far, either in practice or on event day?
“Definitely the practices, even when we just sit there and talk it’s just fun to be with everyone.”

What is your team’s biggest aspect of improvement for the 2025 Battle of the Classes, and what measures have you taken to fix it?
“Probably cleaning the dances and everyone actually showing up to practices when we have them.”

What’s your hype song for this year’s edition? Has it changed or remained the same from last year?
“I am new to the team this year so I can’t say from past years, but this year I would think our hype song is ‘Phat’, it is one of our dances and it really gets us all pumped up!”

Which BOTC event or round are you looking forward to the most and why?
“Definitely the dance, I just think it is so fun to do and to watch and it just brings me joy to dance.”

Sam Hawsby
Two years down, two to go… did you enjoy the Freshman (2023) or Sophomore (2024) campaign more, and why do you believe so?
“I think I enjoyed all of them equally. However, the one thing that’s different each year has to do with the fact that I gain more experience each year, taking a little less stress and pressure off of myself, since I have done BOTC multiple times. I know what challenge I am up to, and what I have to do to rise to the standard.”

What has been your favorite BOTC memory so far, either in practice or on event day?
“Definitely the event as a whole. I love performing in front of my peers, and I think it is tons of fun to compete and bond”

What is your team’s biggest aspect of improvement for the 2025 Battle of the Classes, and what measures have you taken to fix it?
“My team’s biggest aspect of improvement has to be in the dance, and focusing as a whole. We have made huge strides in becoming way cleaner within the transitions and dance all around.”

What’s your hype song for this year’s edition? Has it changed or remained the same from last year?
“My hype song for this year is probably ‘Views’ by Drake. It’s changed from last year.”

Which BOTC event or round are you looking forward to the most and why?
“I’m looking forward to dance moves the most, since I have been doing that event since my freshman year. I look forward to it the most since in both my freshman and sophomore years, I came in second both times. So, this year, I’m looking to win it all with my partner.”

Juliet Bonevich
Two years down, two to go… did you enjoy the Freshman (2023) or Sophomore (2024) campaign more, and why do you believe so?
“I enjoyed freshman year more because it was less stressful.”

What has been your favorite BOTC memory so far, either in practice or on event day?
“We had a girls only practice one night and it was so enjoyable, everyone was dancing and joking around. It was the first time I began to look forward to this year’s BOTC.”

What is your team’s biggest aspect of improvement for the 2025 Battle of the Classes, and what measures have you taken to fix it?
“Our dance is never very great because we all disagree on so much. We finally came together and talked about it so it’s looking better than it was when we started. We pretty much got it done the week before the event so I hope it’s clean enough.”

What’s your hype song for this year’s edition? Has it changed or remained the same from last year?
“Probably ‘PHAT’ by DaBaby because the girls love the song and it’s in our dance.”

Which BOTC event or round are you looking forward to the most and why?
“I’m looking forward to the dance the most because I like seeing what all the grades came up with.”
