9/22/15 -- From September 18th to the 20th, the Freehold Township Speech and Debate Team competed at the Twenty-Third Yale Invitational. There were 1256 entries from 208 schools and 27 different states this year making it the largest Yale Invitational to date. While all of the members who attended the tournament gave it their best effort, there were truly inspiring performances from those who placed. Kevin Marien (junior) quarter finaled in Extemporaneous Speaking. Rian Weinstein (senior, captain) quarter finaled in Dramatic Interpretation, and finished 6th place, finaling in Program Oral Interpretation. In Oral Interpretation of Literature, Shana Kleiner (senior, president) and George Fragoulias (senior, VP) quarter finaled and Alexandra Knighton took 3rd place in the final round.
