With Hanukkah in full swing and Christmas right around the corner, you might find yourself scrambling for a last minute gift. Have no fear, Patriot Press is here! If you dread the crowded mall and waiting on long lines that seem to last an eternity, I have good news for you: you don’t have to.

The perfect gift for anyone, but especially friends, is a mug. There are so many cute options that can be found in all different stores such as Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, Hallmark, even the local Dollar Store. There are funny one, cute ones, and plain ones depending on the personality of the person you are giving the gift to. I even saw a mag that you can personalize by putting a picture of you and your friend on it.

Mugs are universal for all different ages and genders. With this being an extremely cold winter, mugs are more essential now than ever. Most people around this time of year are spending their nights drinking warm tea and hot chocolate. A cute mug is necessary to fit this  chilly theme.

My favorite part about giving a mug for the holidays is that you can fill them with other small gifts. I recommend stuffing them with gift cards, candy, lotions, and personal jokes. It’s a nice way to add a personal touch to a gift, like Jim does in The Office with his teapot gift to Pam.

So, if you find yourself in a time crunch and are trying to figure out a small gift to get someone, reach for a mug. They are a great stocking stuffer or secret Santa gift and are sure to please even the pickiest of recipients. Have a great holiday!
