“Wish You Were Here” by Neck Deep

[wpdevart_youtube]aVvAZ1mXZlA[/wpdevart_youtube]

This is the type of song you listen to when you’re missing someone who you lost in life while reminiscing all of the good times together. This is a slower song talking about all of the good times shared with someone that you know you won’t have the same good times anymore. I like this song because it’s something you can listen to at any time of the day and that one person who you haven’t really thought about in awhile just pops up in your head and it’s sort of a chilling feeling realizing that all of the times shared with someone who once meant so much to you, won’t happen again.

“Disasterology” by Pierce The Veil

This song is sort of a darker song. All throughout the song Vic explains the meaning of life and how it’s basically pointless. He explains how this is practically one of those moments in life when you don’t really know if you have a purpose in life. This song is definitely a “Debby-Downer” but the harsh sounding tones are sort of what makes this song something to listen to if you can relate to the way Vic feels in this song.

“I Want To Write You A Song” by One Direction

[wpdevart_youtube]pAYoaLjAwWk[/wpdevart_youtube]

BOYS TAKE NOTES: This is basically the song every girl wants to hear. Okay maybe not EVERY girl since it’s One Direction and we’re all still living in a stereotypical world where their only songs are about girls and whatnot. But, this song is seriously a sweet song and such a romantic song. I just felt the need to share this song. This song talks about all of the different things the boys of 1D would do to romantically please a girl. And let’s just say, they’re scoring!!

“Guns For Hands” by Twenty One Pilots

[wpdevart_youtube]Pmv8aQKO6k0[/wpdevart_youtube]

This is such an influential song by the boys. Tyler Joseph explains how this song is his awareness of the different mental health issues going on today and he wrote this song to tell his fans that they should aim all of their pain and stress to something else such as him. He begs the fans to not harm themselves, but to get angry at him, and take out their emotions toward him because he really cares deeply about his fans, more than they even realize. And all he asks in return of them listening to his music is to just promise they will try their best not to harm themselves.

“Be Alright” (Acoustic) by Justin Bieber

I know this playlist is full of many middle school phases, but i’m going to add another onto this list. Justin Bieber used to seriously have the best music to listen to. This song in particular was one I would always listen to in 2013 after having a bad day in 7th grade because someone called me a ‘bad word’. But honestly, this song is really such a meaningful song. Justin basically says through the bad, there will always be good in life so just believe that and everything will be alright.
