At this Friday’s Homecoming Game, Football Captain Nick Cardone and Cheer Captain Valentina Collabelli were crowned the 2024 Homecoming king and queen! The Patriot Press was able to talk to this year’s senior royalty to reflect on their win and what’s to come. Here’s what they said:

First of all, congrats on being crowned Homecoming king and queen! How did you feel when your name was announced?

Cardone: I was very excited to have my name announced.

Collabelli: I was very surprised but it was a lot of fun.

That’s great! What do you like the most about Homecoming week?

Cardone: Everyone can come to support us at the football game and come to homecoming.

Collabelli: I like that everyone loves to get involved and the football game is really fun.

So much fun. Lastly, what are you both looking forward to most in your senior year?

Cardone: I’m looking forward to winning this game right now.

Collabelli: I’m excited for prom and just having fun with the senior class.
