“Honest” by Shawn Mendes

[wpdevart_youtube]PsKon5EGqPk[/wpdevart_youtube]

This is one of those songs you listen to when you want to reconnect with someone after things don’t go too well. This is honestly (see what I did there?) my favorite song right now. The song is like a soft song you’d probably hear playing in a coffee shop. He talks about not being able to give the other person in a relationship what they deserve and he apologized multiple times but he’s just explaining how the relationship won’t work when they’re on two different sides of the stick and never meet anywhere in the middle to compromise.

“Pray” by Justin Bieber

I think I might be almost 6 years late to the trend to be obsessed with this song, but I can’t help it!! This song makes me think that Justin Bieber actually cares about the world but then again, it was released almost 6 years ago. This song talks about Justin praying for different people who have it bad, he goes on and explains how all of these tragedies are affecting him, he dreams about a better world. I think everyone does that at least once in their lifetime. This song is a really great song to listen to, it shows that there’s still a drop of hope left in this world.

“Hold On Till May” by Pierce The Veil

[wpdevart_youtube]dZEP9ZG6FqY[/wpdevart_youtube]

This song is one of those songs that restore your personal hope. Vic, the lead singer, explains to the person that he’s singing toward that it’s going to all work out in the end and that they should just hold on for now. One bad day doesn’t mean it’s a bad life. This song is powerful in a way that shows that there are other people in the world who have felt a low point somewhere and it’s completely normal to feel defeated, just know that someone has gone through it too and you’re not alone. This song was actually written about one of Vic’s friends that were neglected by their parents and resorted to committing suicide in hopes that it would end her pain but Vic wrote this song to tell her to hold on

“100 Letters” by Halsey

[wpdevart_youtube]bP4Yr8bGuDQ[/wpdevart_youtube]

This is the song you need after going through a breakup. Throughout this song, Halsey explains how the way you have to get over somebody is getting under somebody else. She then talks about how she almost gave the wrong person everything just because it felt right at the time. She goes on and lists how she’s been through too much to continue to be walked over again. The premise of this song is saying that the one person you want to come back, won’t. And, sometimes that’s the best thing someone can wish for.

“Can’t Help Falling In Love With You” Cover by Tyler Joseph

Starting off, this is a great song but of course I wanted to write about the Twenty One Pilots version! I think everyone knows this song and if not then you’re too young so go ask your parents about it. This song clearly matches the title; it talks about every aspect that makes one more in love with another person and it’s genuinely a great song. The original song is by Elvis Presley and I love that version but I decided to add the Tyler Joseph version instead of the original. However, i’ll link the original too!
