“Today I Saw The Whole World” by Pierce The Veil

This cool and fast tone sounding song is seriously a great one. I love Pierce The Veil so much, I always feel like they have some great stories to tell in songs and this one has an interesting story behind it. Vic Fuentes explains how a girl left him to be with one of his friends and the feeling of it is like being betrayed by both your partner and your friend and that feeling must’ve been a vicious one for Vic to go through

“Take You” (Acoustic Version) by Justin Bieber

Despite the bad things people say about Justin, no one can deny he has at least a few good songs and this is one of them. This song explains the many different things he would do for someone he labels as special. I love this song because it shows the good side to Justin since many people see the bad – it sends a positive message saying that he will go out of his way just to make someone happy (with no hidden fees) and this song is really just something I enjoy listening to anytime it comes on.

“Meet Me In The Hallway” by Harry Styles

This is 100% my favorite song written by Harry. This slow and gloomy tune match up with the lyrics. This song talks about the sadness and desperation of waiting for someone to come back into your life who can help grow the flowers inside of you that died once they walked out. It kind of explains how there is still always a bright side to things that aren’t going so well. I think everyone has gone through losing someone they loved, and this song is perfect to say, “i’ll wait for you to come back to me, just let me know when you’re ready” that’s truly the raw side to this. I suggest listening to this song when you’re in a “sad music only” mood.

“Just Like You” by Louis Tomlinson

First of all, this song is so different from the music One Direction has ever made. The music the boys are creating now separately, is way better than when they were all together being a stereotypical boy singing about girls and love. This song starts off by him explaining who he is – stating that he came from a well known boy band. Louis then sings about how he has problems in this world just like everyone else except some people may think his problems are minuscule compared to other problems surfacing this world. This song has such a fun beat to it yet the lyrics are the complete opposite and I just love that so much.

“Bad At Love” by Halsey

This song has been one of my top favorites for awhile now because of Halsey’s great voice and awesome lyrics.. Before i get into what the song talks about – if you’ve never heard the song before just listen to the first 15 seconds – TRY and tell me that when the beat drops in the very beginning, that it doesn’t sound like Super Mario Bros’ coins while they’re being collected!! I don’t know how I came up with that idea but that’s all I think about when I hear the song. Anyways, back to the lyrics. Halsey explains how she’s had multiple people who she considered “the one” throughout her relationships and it just all goes downhill because somehow all of the relationships never work out for her so in the chorus her very talented voice emotionally complains that she’s bad at love and she’s just hoping that the next person to come around will show her that she’s not bad at love. This song is honestly perfect and I love every second of it.
