“Limitless” Intrigues with Unique Story

Limitless Intrigues with Unique Story

Limitless is not your regular TV series. Most people when they see the commercials would think that it was a weird show that they wouldn’t like, which was what I thought when I first heard about it. Then I gave it a chance, and I’m so glad I did!

The first episode starts off with the main character Brian Finch, played by Jake McDorman, who is basically a nobody whose family believes he is a disappointment. His siblings are lawyers with great carriers while Brian is trying to make it in the music industry. This all changes when his dad gets sick and he believes he can solve how to cure his father with an NZT pill. This NZT pill gains you access to every part of your brain, parts that you didn’t even know you had.

Brian takes this pill and, believe it or not, he actually does cure his father and now is hooked on the NZT pill. Unfortunately the only person who he can get this pill from is murdered, and the FBI thinks that Brian had something to do with it because he was the one who found his friend.  Now the FBI knows about this pill and finds Brian, but the only thing is that they know he didn’t murder his friend. Instead they want him to help them solve the cases of all the NZT users.

The reason why they want him is because he is immune to the deadly effects of NZT. The creator of the pill kidnapped Brian and now is using him to gain access to all the information the FBI has on NZT. Brian is bound to the creator because he gets a shot from his nurse that makes him immune to the NZT pill’s side-effects that create a painful death.

Now working for both the FBI and the creator of NZT, life becomes very tricky and Brian hits a lot of bumps in the rode.  So far he has been able to figure out a way to jump over those bumps, but will he fall behind? You’ll have to find out on Tuesdays at 10PM on CBS.
