With the primary election drawing near, many presidential hopefuls voice their over-ambitious policies and reforms on all social media platforms. However, the meaning of words fades if an individual’s ability cannot support them. America is on the brink of calamity, and there is only one man capable of making this country great again: reasonable, humble, for-the-people…Donald J. Trump.

Seeking a better life and opportunities in another land is a malicious and selfish idea; America does not support the exploitation of land and resources for the betterment of human life. The United States was not built by immigrants, and it definitely should not start now. Donald Trump realizes the disaster of immigrants occupying the country, and his political platform addresses the growing problem. Trump’s first plan of action calls for immigration reform: to build a wall across the southern border. Trump not only wants to separate Mexico and the United States, but he also wants to demonstrate America’s big, gaping ego in the form of barbed wires and increased security personnel. In addition to the construction of a divider, Trump expects Mexico to pay for its construction. Genius! Make them do the work for us! Donald Trump’s plan for immigration reform is fool-proof, and it is also much needed—the United States has never been, nor will ever be a Promised Land for opportunities and fresh beginning.

trump2In the wise words of future president Donald Trump: “If Hilary Clinton can’t satisfy her husband, what makes her think she can satisfy America?”  It is obvious that Trump holds the image of the women of our country in high regards. With the growing stigma surrounding women’s issues, it’s wonderful to see an influential hero shine a positive light on this subject for a change. For example, during the GOP debate aired on Fox News, Trump demonstrated the kind of harassment women experience on Megyn Kelly; he said Kelly had “blood coming out of her wherever” —one of many examples of female-related harassment he illustrates for the audience. Issues relating to women is a growing and controversial topic—it’s refreshing to see a candidate empathize for a culture that is so underrepresented.

And last but not least, Donald Trump has opened the public’s eyes to the most debilitating and consequential problem our nation has ever faced: infrastructure. Healthcare, education, the growing wealth gap—all of those can take a back seat compared to the pressing issue infrastructure has on our nation.  Donald Trump refers to LaGuardia Airport as “Third World”—“You land your plane at LaGuardia, you go to LaGuardia Airport, [and] it’s like a Third World airport.” Obviously, he’s right. What makes a nation great is not by the fairness of its government; greatness is definitely not measured by financial stability; and, no, of course greatness is NOT defined by civil prosperity. The United States is a “laughingstock throughout the world” because we fail to address what’s important, and that is building nicer bridges and fancier airports. America, Donald Trump asks not what you can do for your country but “When was the last time you saw a bridge being built in the United States?” It’s all about infrastructure—plain and simple—and Donald Trump is just the man for the job to “make America great again!”
