Mrs. Johnson by Tamara Pocost

There is no doubt that Mrs. Johnson has become one of my favorite teachers. It is not every day that you have a teacher with a caring personality, sense of humor, and a one of a kind laugh. Mrs. Johnson has taught me so much about Spanish, that I don’t believe I would have learned without her. Last year I didn’t learn as much as I would’ve liked, but I’m so thankful that I had the opportunity to this year. I’ve always wanted to become fluent in Spanish because there are so many people I know that speak it, and I think it would be something fun to have. Mrs. Johnson has helped me decide that I wanted to minor in Spanish while attending Penn State. Mrs. Johnson is always so kind to everyone, even though our class is a lot to handle. I give her so much credit for being able to handle all these students every day. It takes a certain kind of person to be able to be a Spanish teacher in high school, and she is excellent at it. I wouldn’t be surprised if they made her “Teacher of the Month” the entire school year. That’s how amazing she truly is. There are days in her class that are more challenging than others, but she helps out whenever we need it. You can see that she wants each and every one of us to succeed, that’s what makes her so altruistic. Even at my 10 year reunion, I will never forget having her as one of my teachers throughout my senior year. I just want to say Gracias to Mrs. Johnson for all the verbs, infinitives, and vocabulary that she has taught me. Nunca te olvidaré !
