Freehold Township’s Golub gets 300th win

He helped produce one of the greatest moments in Freehold Township boys basketball history. Now, his players have created a special moment just for him.
In 2007, Freehold Township boys basketball coach Brian Golub directed the 2006-2007 Patriots’ boys basketball team to a 55-49 victory over Christian Brothers Academy in the Shore Conference Tournament Final to win the Patriots’ first SCT title. Fast forward to Feb. 2, 2016 when coach Golub was just one win shy of reaching 300 for his career, and his players came through again.
