When a friend of mine recommended this song to me a few days ago, I was immediately shocked that I hadn’t heard it before. I’ve streamed it 30 times in the past few days! The catchy Billy Joel track employs many typical traits of his music, such as intense piano melodies, crazy guitar riffs, and prominent drums. The peppy instrumentals always make me want to get up and dance! In this tune, Billy Joel sings of his obsession with a girl named Leyna in a series of fun and upbeat lyrics. The track reminds me a lot of the psychedelic tone that The Beatles achieved on their album “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”.
