On October 25th of 2019, a famous YouTuber named Mr. Beast, as well as a bunch of other YouTubers, posted videos related to #teamtrees, at 1:00 P.M. PST. In celebration of hitting 20 million subscribers, Mr. Beast wanted to give back to the world and start the new decade off right. Thus, he and Mark Robers worked together with the Arbor Day Foundation, who agreed to plant one tree for every dollar donated. 

YouTubers such as PewDiePie, Hannah Stocking, Slow Mo Guys, the Try Guys, Keemstar, Smarter Everyday, Game Theorists, LDShadowLady and even smaller YouTubers, have all joined in to spread the word. With the help of the Arbor Day Foundation, a company dedicated to planting trees and inspire others, Mr. Beast and Mark Robers concluded that they wanted to start the new decade off right by planting 20,000,000 trees before 2020 to fight climate change and help our Earth. 

Although the task seems impossible to do in just two months, there is hope that the goal can be met. As of the end of October 26th, $4,204,619 had already been donated and will result in the planting of 4,204,619 trees.
