Taylor’s Fans Go Wild

After a 13-countdown, Taylor’s latest single and music video for this song, “ME!” was finally released. This track features Panic! At the Disco vocalist Brendon Urie, who thanked Taylor for letting him be apart of her “beautiful story” on social media. Overall song is very upbeat, and the music video includes rainbows, pastel colors, sparkles, and her beloved pet cats. Her last album featured a snake, and she reflected this in the music video by having a snake burst and turn into butterflies. Taylor states that, “’ME!’ is a song about embracing your individuality and really celebrating it and owning it. With a pop song we have the ability to get a melody stuck in people’s heads. I just want it to be one that makes them feel better about themselves, not worse.” Additionally, Taylor’s fans and keen to uncode the many easter eggs featured in her video, which most fans recognize as the snake, cats, and proposal in the video. Clearly, Taylor Swift has a very strong ability to engage her fans in her projects.

Mrs. Bieber Against Gomez Fans

Justin Bieber’s wife, formerly known as Hailey Baldwin but now Hailey Bieber, made the decision to speak out against “delusional” and “obsessive” Selena Gomez fans. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez had an on and off relationship from 2009 to 2018, making Selena’s fans furious at Justin for marrying someone else. Most recently, these fans have commented on Hailey’s latest Instagram post featuring photos of her and Justin. One commenter wrote, “Can you stop forcing your relationship already…we all know your 2nd best. You always will be and always have been.” Hailey fought back and wrote, “You little internet kiddos need to learn how to move on for real. We’re adults that have better things to do than waste time explaining something just so you can stop your delusional fantasies. I’m not going to sit here and let obsessive strangers try to tell me about my own husband, you wanna talk about [somebody’s] husband then get [your] own.” This isn’t the first time the couple has defended their relationship, as Justin responded to a hate comment last month. It seems as if Hailey and Justin are very protective over one another and won’t let the hate affect their relationship.

The Latest Newlyweds

Hours after the Billboard Music Awards, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner made the decision to tie the knot at a Las Vegas ceremony officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator. This couple who started dating in 2016 and got engaged in 2017 got married in front of people who attended the music awards and loved ones. The ceremony was fairly simple, costing around $600 and featuring candy rings. It is likely that the couple will have a second ceremony, as Jonas previously said they would get married in France.
