“Parachute” by Neck Deep

This is an amazing song, it talks about everything that every senior needs to hear at a time like this. This song is a pop-rock song that explains how adventurous we should be. How we need to break away from this town and school, beginning fresh with our new chapter in life. Graduation is so close and this song is so necessary for a time like this. I love this song so much and the lyrics are perfect for class of 2018.

“Fake Happy” by Paramore

This song is supposed to start off sounding pretty sad but it actually turns into a light pop nice song after a few seconds in. The lyrics are pretty sad compared to the cute sounding beat. The lyrics are talking about how easy it is to fool someone into thinking you’re happy although underneath, it’s quite the opposite. I really suggest this song, it’s better than you’d think!!

“Super Far” by LANY

This song is such a chill-coffee-place themed song. I love the music video more than the song itself honestly, it was all taken in one shot and it’s so simple it just all fits together. The lyrics are about someone being treated badly although they give their all to the other person. The best line of the song is right after going through all of the bad things they’ve gone through and then they say, “if this is love then I don’t want it.” It’s such a simple line but it’s basically the message of the song.

“What Is The Point?” by NARØ

This is a song actually by my best friend’s boyfriend! I would like this song regardless if it was by her boyfriend or someone else because I love everything about it. The tone of his voice is so dark and mysterious compared to the beat of the song which sounds pretty happy. This is a good night driving song, I listen to it more than is necessary in all honesty. The lyrics are really sad, it questions the point of living or if there even is a point. I think this is a great song and I suggest listening to it.

“Collar Full” by Panic! At The Disco

This is a pretty well known song by this band, so if you haven’t heard it then I really suggest listening to this one. I love this song so much because of Brendon’s tone of voice throughout the song. His voice sounds very different compared to the beat but I think it adds to the song. The song is happy and definitely uplifting. The lyrics are essentially about craving love before it’s too late.
