You tip toe as quiet as a mouse, trying to sneak a peak at this year’s present. What could it be? A racecar? A puppy?  Or maybe it’s a GoPro! The hottest present on the market, GoPro is a small waterproof camera that hooks onto almost any surface and it can record hours of video.

All these cameras, no matter what model have an HD of 1080p. Mostly these 3.9 oz cameras are used in the case of people trying to record their fun adventures like skiing, surfing or any type of sport. Each camera has a storage adaptability of 32GB of data. The audio is top notch too with a 48kHz sampling rate (that’s apparently very good) and if you just want to set it on picture mode, the camera goes off at). 5-second intervals.

“ When I go surfing, a hook the GoPro up to the front of my board and it captures the coolest videos and pics that I wouldn’t be able to get otherwise,” said Tiffany Demonte, Grade 10. Almost everyone that has had experience with these small cameras have loved the quality of the outcomes of the photos and videos.

These Go Pros come in three models, Hero, panging in at around $129.99, Hero 3 White, which also includes built in Wi-Fi, and 3 frames a second, ranging in at 199.99 and lastly Hero 3+ Silver, that has Wi-Fi, the ability to share to social network immediately and ten frames per second, and this one prices at 299.99. Hero is the perfect entry level Gopro that almost anyone can use.

Sure you can get some old camera and tape it on to your chosen surface but how does it compare to the Lightweight camera, surface stability and HD features of the GoPro? It probably dosent! So if youre not sure what to get a loved one, I would suggest a GoPro camera!

Price- $129.99 to $499.99
