Name: Laik J. Green

Nickname: Laik

Why do you want to be in Mr. FTHS?
I want to be a part of the event because it is my year. I am trying to enjoy every last moment of high school, and this would be an awesome memory.

What does Freehold Township HS mean to you?

I can honestly say my life is built around this place. I love coming to school each day, and I have made so many friends through the years; my life wouldn’t be the same without the school.

What clubs/activities/hobbies are you involved with at FTHS or outside of FTHS?

I am an Eagle Scout of Troop 150, Boy Scouts of America. I bowl for FTHS bowling, and I am a member of the FFA and NHS.

How would you describe yourself?

I am a passionate, hardworking, and charismatic individual. I strive to be better each and every day and overall treat everyone with kindness and warmth.

Being Mr. FTHS is a huge honor. Why do you think you have what it takes to be Mr. FTHS?

I feel that I represent what this school is made of: kindness, opportunity, and just overall, plain fun. My character reflects this place and it would be amazing.

Who is your favorite person and why?

My favorite person is probably my Grandfather. He resembles all I want to accomplish in my life. He has a wife and children, a successful, loving family. He’s 85 and still works out and is in tip top shape, and overall has taught me many life lessons that will help me in the future.

What do you love most about FTHS?

I love the people. All the friends I’ve made over the years have truly shaped my life today, without the school, I would never have any of it.

Where do you see yourself ten years from now?

In ten years, I hope to have a home in the NY/NJ area, hopefully with a steady job with the media, either in radio/television or writing/journalism, preferably in the political field. I hope to have a wife who cares for me as much as I do her.

Describe your ideal date?

I would go for dinner/lunch, and then go see the New York Rangers or some form of hockey. Maybe we’d go for a nice stroll in a park afterward, preferably a nice area where we can spend time together.

What is your passion in life?

My passion is most definitely music and politics. I love the 1980s-I’m all about heavy metal, but also pop, like WHAM! or Duran-Duran. I love politics and history-I could talk for hours about issues in society and I’m always open for a debate.
