Tom Holland

Beginning:  In this Spider-Man series, Jon Watts made the movie so it’s after Uncle Ben’s death  and Peter and Aunt May are living alone together. It’s also six months after Peter got bit and discovered his powers, so he’s already out in New York saving lives and decreasing the amount of crime.

Aunt May: In the Jon Watts film, Aunt May is exceedingly younger and we don’t see too much of her throughout the movie.

Friends: Jon Watts has Ned as Peter’s best friend. Ned is a nerdy geek who also has a mini crush on Liz Allens but isn’t as whipped as Peter. He also asks to be “the guy in the chair” once he finds out Peter is Spider-Man.

Personality: Tom Holland is the perfect combination for being Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Tom knows the character/ hero like the back of hand therefore it’s easy for him to act nerdy and shy around classmates and adults but funny and outgoing with citizens and criminals.

Lover: Peter in the Jon Watts films is head over heals for Liz Allens (which IS comically correct because they did meet in high school). Liz is the brunette who Peter doesn’t really talk to because he gets the crushies around her but eventually builds confidence to do so towards the end.

Flash: Flash is also not the nicest in these films. We don’t see too much of Flash in this movie either but when we do he’s with the decathlon group in his yellow jacket. He’s also a brunette but is supposed to be blonde.

Suits: In the homecoming film, Peter already has a suit that Tony Stark (iron man) made him that comes with a bunch of cool gadgets that Peter still has yet to discover/ use. The suit has visual modifications and over 500 web combinations. The suit also has web wings that allows Peter to glide through the air longer than he can already.

Web Development: Jon Watts went by the comics which Peter develops the webbing in various places. He literally combines chemicals to get the result of strong, fast webbing. He then has little crayon size containers to hold the webbing and he attaches it to his webshooters.

Internship: Peter doesn’t work for Oscorp in these movies, he’s a high school kid who wants to prove himself, so he goes around with Tony Stark trying to become an Avenger but calls it a “Stark Internship” so his identity as Spider-Man doesn’t get revealed.

Heroic Style: Jon Watts had Peter super interested in becoming an avenger which is why Peter was doing the “Stark Internship”. Peter was trying to prove himself to become an avenger and save the world.

Villains: So far the Jon Watts film has Vulture as a villain but by the look of the post credit scenes, we might see some Scorpion action.

Movie Studio: Amy Pascal is a producer (Sony Studios) that was able to make a deal with Marvel to share Spider-Man, so that’s why we see heroes like Iron Man in the most recent film and they share the same world.
