Edward Stuart, Staff Writer
Edward Stuart is a junior in the FTHS Global Studies program with a passion for history. He enjoys discussing a variety of topics, with a particular focus on historical subjects. As an Eagle Scout in Freehold Boy Scout Troop 18, Edward is especially proud of his Eagle project, which involved preserving the agricultural history of the Oakley Farm Museum. For the project, he researched and displayed information about over 80 19th-century tools and implements. This effort took more than 2,000 hours and included tasks such as photographing, laminating, and framing images, as well as restoring display enclosures and creating a welcome sign for the Museum’s entrance.
In addition to his academic and scouting achievements, Edward is an active member of his school’s marching band, symphonic band, and choir. He also participates in the drama club’s spring musicals.
