“Who Are You Now” by Sleeping With Sirens
The lead singer, Kellin Quinn, briefly explained how this song is the “theme” of the album. Throughout the song, Kellin states basically that he knows what you’re going through because he has had those hard days too and you aren’t alone. He wants people to know they are alone in what they’re going through. No matter how corny the meaning of this song might be it’s still one of my all time favorites and it always will be. “Next To You” by Chris Brown and Justin Bieber
This is one of those songs that i can proudly call it “old but gold” because this song is honestly such a well written song. I don’t like these two artists at all but for some reason when you mash their voices together in a song it just sounds brilliant. The two guys in this song explain how they will never leave the person they’re with right now. They will never leave them or betray them because that person means the world to them. I don’t know why, but this has been a favorite for years. [wpdevart_youtube]EEuQU6a90Pc[/wpdevart_youtube]
“All Signs Point to Lauderdale” by A Day To Remember
This song is a more negative one. This song talks about hating the town you’re in because nothing goes your way and you constantly have bad luck all of the time and it just sucks because you think, “today’s going to be a good day” and then it gets worse and worse as it goes on and after awhile you start to believe that you will never really have a good day so that’s basically what this song is about. Why am I putting a negative song on this? Because it still can be relatable and in general it’s still an amazing song! [wpdevart_youtube]08PszRp2cBg[/wpdevart_youtube]
“Have You Ever Seen The Rain” by Creedence Clearwater Revival
This song has such a cool vibe to it, my friend suggested this song and i immediately fell in love with it and i don’t know why. It may be because of the lead singers amazing voice or the very simple lyrics that beautifully describe rain. Either way, this song is so catchy and it has such a nice feel to it. “Sweet Creature” By Harry Styles
My One Direction phase surely isn’t over after hearing this song. Harry Styles made the best comeback out of all of the 1D boys with this song. Harry explains how a person (or as he calls a “sweet creature”) brings him hope even though there are rough patches throughout this ride he is talking about with his significant other. This song sounds nothing like One Direction and I love the feeling it gives me listening to the new music.[wpdevart_youtube]8uD6s-X3590[/wpdevart_youtube]
