“*Sobs Quietly*” by Mom Jeans.

This song starts out mellow and then jumps into a louder and more aggressive tune. I love this song so much,  it really enhances the mood the singer is feeling at the moment. This song talks about how the singer ends a relationship with his partner and he talks about how much he misses her yet he makes no effort to get her back because he can’t gather himself together for her. This song is brilliantly put together I just personally love this song so much.

“Truce” by Twenty One Pilots
This song always leave me with a river of tears because the simplicity of it is just saying “stay alive” because Tyler Joseph means it when he tells his fans that it’s worth it to keep going in life and to not give up, that’s the meaning of this song. It’s sort of a promise between him and the fans saying please stay alive for me and i’ll stay alive for you. This song definitely is one to listen to if you need a good cry because it’s just so meaningful and amazing.

“Shatter in the Night” by VESPERTEEN
This upbeat fun song is literally such a “teenager song”. This song talks about having fun, driving around getting lost, going to parties, etc. This song is literally a song that describes teenagers perfectly with such a nice beat to it. This song is super underrated and I feel like so many people would like it!

“The Boy Who Could Fly” by Pierce The Veil

This song is a continuation of “Southern Constellation” meaning you have to listen to that song first and then this one right after to really catch the meaning. The lead singer, Vic Fuentes, explains basically how he falls in love with a girl and something happens to her. No one knows what happened to her, she just disappeared  and he’s sort of singing to her as if she is either dead or they broke up and he’s just having a hard time moving on. But either way, this song is truly remarkable I just love the emotion that is being poured out into it.

“I Want You” by Third Eye Blind

This sound of this song is very calming however, the lyrics are not. The lyrics talk about how you can literally only have someone in your dreams even though you want that person so bad it’s nearly impossible. You basically just have to suck it up and move on even though you don’t want to, that’s the only option you have. When reality kicks in and you realize that person doesn’t want you back, recovering can be hard because you thought they’d actually want you back but it turns out that’s not the truth.
