FTHS Slays at DECA State Conference

From February 21st to the 23rd, FTHS’ business club DECA participated at the very competitive DECA State Gold Conference. Nine out of seventeen students made it to the final round of competition. After hours of grueling roleplays and complicated tests, five Township students won their way to the National Deca competition in Nashville Tennessee. The results of the tournament are as followed:

Stephanie MacDougall – finalist

Tierney Egan – finalist, 1st place on test, going to Nationals for Gold on Chapter Awards Project

Miriam Shlafman – finalist

Edona Gjeloshi – finalist

Anthony Picciano – finalist, 1st place on role play, 3rd place overall going to Nationals

Jonathan Kandell – finalist, 1st place role play

Sage O’Toole – finalist, 1st place test, 2nd place overall going to Nationals

Asher Vaysblat – finalist, 1st place test, 2nd place overall going to Nationals

Aaron Wohl – going to Nationals for Gold on Chapter Award Project
