Teachers of the Year: Mr. Monafis & Mrs. Mayer

On Monday, December 14, the FTHS administration recognized the best of the best: Mr. Monafis is the Teacher of the Year, and Mrs. Mayer is the Educational Support Staff of the Year.

Both Mr. Monafis and Mrs. Mayer received plaques and awards from the Township of Freehold, and each has had an official day named in his/her honor.  Tuesday, December 15, 2015 is Efstratios Monafis Day in Freehold, and Wednesday, December 16, 2015 is Amy Mayer Day.

Awards were presented by Freehold Councilwoman Barbara McMorrow, and plaques will be hung on the wall outside of the Main Office to honor the two recipients.

The awards were presented in a skit that was based on The Voice, with each of the four judges played by the FTHS main office administrators.
