The Golden State Warriors are off to an unprecedented start. They have started the season winning 18-straight games which has shattered the record for best start to a season. Golden State is led by the force of Stephen Curry who at this point is becoming indescribable. They are silencing the critics that said they were “lucky” last season because many of the other teams in the Western Conference were battling injuries. The Bay Area crew is also showing that even without their stellar coach Steve Kerr at the helm, they can play just as well, if not better than they do with him on the sidelines. (Kerr had back surgery and is currently recovering.)

Draymond Green has also played great through the first 18 games. Green is such a versatile player and the Warriors use that to their advantage putting him anywhere from small forward to center. He is truly becoming one of the best small forwards in the game today. Klay Thompson and Andre Iguodala provide scoring bursts when needed to add to the already offense heavy team. As great as their offense is, their defense might be even better. They are able to close out games because they have a knack for forcing turnovers, which leads to easy scores in transition.

The NBA record for winning streak is 33 games and if Golden State continues to play at this high of a level, they have a legitimate shot at breaking it. All-around, the Warriors are the best team in the NBA, and they should have no problem making a 4th straight trip to the NBA playoffs, and a possible trip back to the NBA Finals.
