Bieber

The Biebs is back and better than ever.
Anyone who was active on social media, watched television, or listened to the radio in the past year or so heard all about Justin Bieber’s fall from fame. From hitting pedestrians with his Ferari to abandoning his pet monkey in Germany, the pop-star had not been making any great decisions. As a result of his poor decision making and bad attitude, he began to loose his fans and his credibility. He was no longer this amazing idol for young kids to look up to, which disappointed the people that had been supporting him since the very beginning.
Only a few months ago did it occur to Bieber that he needed to turn his life around before he became one of those worn out childhood stars that lost their lives to drug and alcohol addiction. Taking a step in the right direction, he asked to have a Comedy Central Roast for his birthday, with him in the hot seat. Celebrities and comedians hopped on board to roast the Biebs, some of the more notable ones being Martha Stewart, Kevin Hart, Shaquille O’Neal, and Snoop Dogg. One by one, the stars got up and ripped Bieber apart.
At one point Shaq said, “Last year you were ranked the fifth most hated person of all time. Kim Jong-un didn’t even score that low, and he uses your music to [sic] torture people.” And even though that fact would make most people want to throw up, Bieber put on a brave face and just took it.
At the end of the roast, Justin got up to the microphone and insulted everybody who roasted him, and apologized for doing so in the same breath. He ended the roast by apologizing to his fans and all the people he hurt when he lost his mind and stopped focusing on music; he promised he would be somebody that everyone could look at and be proud of.
And so started the come-back of the Biebs.
In the past few months, starting in the summer of 2015, Justin started to put out music that not only appealed to a crowd of 9-year-olds, but also shot its way up the charts. Songs like “Where Are Ü Now,” “What Do You Mean,” and his most recent release “Sorry” have been stuck in everybody’s head. Bieber Fever is spreading faster than it was in 2010.
With a bigger audience and an album titled “Purpose” on it’s way (release date: November 17th), it is safe to say that the pop-star is back and definitely better than before.
“I think that Beiber’s [sic] collaboration and experimentation with more EDM-styled music is the reason his comeback is more hyped than it would have been if he stuck with strict pop,” junior Noah Gomes said, spilling the secret of the star’s success. EDM (electronic dance music) has been on the rise for years now, and as the style of music is evolving, so is Bieber.
It’s refreshing to see a teen-pop-sensation bounce back from a downfall, because it reminds everyone that celebrities are just normal human being with more money than they know what to do with. It’s important to support these young people, because they are who this generation’s young people are going to be looking up to.
Welcome back, Bieber. We missed you more than we missed Adele.
