Greetings and salutations, Patriot Nation! Today, I’ll be discussing the new trailer for Wicked: For Good that recently dropped. Let’s get into it!

As you may or may not know, this is my most anticipated movie for the rest of the year. I personally think this is a fairly decent trailer, as it does show some of the new songs, acting, and excerpts of the movie. I just have one strong nitpick with this trailer—and it’s a common complaint with almost every teaser nowadays: why does this trailer have to show so much?!

The trailer is three minutes long, and it gives away entirely too much information on one of the major scenes involving Tin Man. It also basically gives away the entire wedding scene between Glinda and Fiyero, which is something I’m pretty confident that people don’t wanna know right away. They also spoil the core moments of the “No Good Deed” sequence—an integral part of the film. Hollywood really needs to know what’s enough and what’s not.

But outside of how it basically shows key moments of the film, I still think it looks amazing, and it remains my most anticipated of the rest of the year. The makeup design is absolutely fantastic. The visuals are top notch, and the music looks amazing too. Overall, maybe this isn’t everything that they give away, but still, I think they spoiled the best and most important moments way too fast. But it looks like an amazing movie, and I will definitely be seeing it this November!
