- Radar
Radar barely makes the cut here at 15. It is a relatively short song, but the typically Carti song that we all love. It has an upbeat flow, with solid vocals. Not better than the rest of the songs on this list, but good enough to make the top 15.
- Backd00r
I really love this song, and wanted it to be higher, but Jasvick refused. Backd00r is a great song, with an upbeat vibe and great vocals. It is not the typical Carti song that we are used to, but it has a nice vibe to it. I listen to this song quite often, and really enjoy this song. However, it sits here in the 14 spot, as many of the upcoming songs are also solid.
- Walk
Walks is a very underrated song, and sits here in the 13 spot. Walk has a nice beat to it, and is sort of a “hype up” type of song. Carti put this one well together, and is a close competitor to Jumpin, which we have in the next place. Overall, great song.
- Jumpin
Jumpin opens up beautifully, and gets you right into the vibe of the song. Its ad libs are utilized nicely, and fits perfectly with the feel of this album as a whole. We would have liked to put this song higher, but the songs to come are just as strong. Still thought, a great song.
- Trim
Future’s role in this song is why we have Trim so high. His vocals in the song are great, and the lyrics get you amped to listen to the rest of the song. The beat is nice, and the flow is masterfully produced. Really good song!
- HBA
HBA falls into the top 10 of our rankings. This is the Carti-type song that gives this album all the hype. The flow is strong, the beat is nice, and makes you want to listen more. Getting closer to the top, all of these songs are gonna be really good, it just all depends on slight little critiques that will differ the bunch.
- Charge Dem **** a Fee
The beginning of this song is fantastic, and draws you in to the rest of it. Hence, why we put it at 9. The vocals in this song are easy to follow and make you want to sing along. The chorus is our favorite part of the song, and the beat makes it even more enjoyable. Great spot for this song!
- Mojo Jojo
This is a really good song. Kendrick Lamar and Carti flow really well together. The beat, lyricism and chorus is extremely catchy making this a good song. Overall, this is a great song with good lyrics and flow.
- K Pop
A prime-esque Carti song with an uptempo and fast beat, fast flow and exquisite lyrics makes this a very good song overall. Overall, a good song within the album however, there are some better choices.
- Philly
The beatswitch in the beginning of the song is a masterpiece. Travis Scott’s beginning verse in the song is fantastic and heavily underrated. The slow to medium Beat, Travis scott’s lyricism and Carti’s flow extremely well together. Overall, an underrated song in this album earning the 6th spot.
- Fine ****
The beginning line “My ***** so bad we can’t even go outside” is one of the most if not the most iconic lines throughout the entire album. His uptempo beat, his lyrics and beat makes this an extremely good song to use in late-night drives or with other people. Overall this is a beautiful song, making it a top 5 song overall in the album.
- Crush
The beginning beat of the song is methodical and beautiful. The switch from a slow beat to a medium to faster beat really makes this song flow beautifully. Combined with the Chorus and Carti’s lyrics makes this a top 4 song on the album.
- We Need All Da Vibes
I highly like this song, however my Partner Evan disagrees with this top 3 ranking. Young Thug’s voice and lyricism with this beat combined with Carti and Ty Dolla singing flows exceptionally well. A cool laid back song that is perfect with many environments. The flow and beat really mixed well with each other. It is a great song, but there are better choices on this album.
- Evil Jordan
This is also one of the best songs of the album. The iconic “Beggin on her knees to be popular” combined with the exceptional beat, the flow and Carti’s lyricism makes this song exceptionally crafted. Overall, it is a exceptional Carti song with good flow, beat, lyricism, making it the second best song on the album
- Rather Lie
Man oh man where do I even begin, This is the GREATEST MASTERPIECE ever created by The Weekend and Playboi Carti. The flow, the beat, the lyricism is crafted to absolute perfection and makes this song the best in the entire album. The Weeknd’s iconic “Rather lie” flows perfectly with Carti’s voice. Just an exceptionally built masterpiece
Overall, a good album by Carti, deserving of the hype. We’d give it a 7.6/10. There were 30 songs in the album, making it extremely hard to rank just half of these songs. Lots of features on the album, and there was clearly a lot of work to create this album in its entirety. Can’t wait to see what he makes next!
