SPOILERS!!! Don’t read unless you want to know the events of the Episode.

What If is back for its third and final season streaming every day for eight days. And just like the Watcher, I will be your guide through each episode. 

In the first episode of the third season, the Avengers must face a new threat, an army of mutated Hulk clones. When trying to fix his Hulk problem Bruce Banner accidentally creates a split of mutated Hulk creatures. Sam Wilson; Captain America, Monica Rambeau; Photon, and other superheroes fight to end the monsters in their mecha suits. The mecha heroes fight and are about to lose until Bruce Banner accepts Hulk inside of him and grows into a Mega Hulk. 

I personally think this episode was slow in some areas but a mostly amazing episode. The cast is full of returning characters and their actors. Sam Wilson, Monica Rambeau, and Bruce Banner are the main characters with their returning voice actors Anthony Mackie, Teyonah Parris, and Mark Ruffalo respectively. This episode takes characteristics from Power Rangers and Godzilla and It’s amazing, with the giant robots fighting a Godzilla like Hulk. Back to the characters, the fact that they had phase five characters including Shang-Chi, Moon Knight, and the Red Guardian, was amazing. My favorite part of the episode was the beginning with the OG Avengers in a TV show. The animation was unique and reminiscent of early-morning cartoons like Transformers. 

Though some parts were boring and slow, and the ending was cliche I believe the season premier was excellent. I give it 4/5 ☆’s.
