Hi Ainsley!
– Hi!
How do you like being a senior?
– I like being a senior for soccer, I mean, this year is kind of weird because I’m leaving early for college in January, so I’m only taking half year courses. It’s weird, but at the same time it’s also weird because I am leaving soon. It’s nice being done. It comes full circle, like finally seeing what I’ve accomplished
What’s one piece of advice you would give to underclassmen?
– I think just like to keep focused, even if they get a bad grade or, you know, that they stay motivated, because there’s a lot more to be done.
So how long have you been playing soccer?
– I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old.
What’s your favorite memory of high school soccer?
– My favorite memory would be winning the State champs two years in a row, this being the second year, we won last year and then this year we played the same team.
How did you feel when you scored the game winning goal in the sectional finals?
– I mean, it was a good feeling. It was the goal all along, so it wasn’t like “Oh we won” after one goal, but it was a good feeling knowing that I had a good impact.
You said that you’re going to college for soccer, where are you going?
– I’m going to TCU.
Okay, thank you for joining me!
– No problem!
