Greetings, and welcome back to October Horror Fest! Today, I was going to watch a different film, but my plan changed! You’ll see tomorrow what it originally was! I decided to switch gears to watch a short film about animatronic horror, and to prepare myself for the legendary Five Nights at Freddy’s movie releasing Friday, which I am seeing Saturday! Also, I thought it was about time for a campy Horror short! Without further ado, sit back, relax, turn off the lights, grab some Candy and Popcorn, and let’s review…
The Hug
We start our Huluween tale at Pandory’s Pan Pizza Palace, a place similar to Freddy Fazbear’s or Chuck E Cheese. Kids run around, and play games. We go up to Pandory’s stage, as kids get upset that he can’t perform for them. A technician says that he is on his dinner break, and that he will be there in an hour. The bratty kid wants Pandory for his birthday, and his friends agree. However, everyone except the birthday boy is pulled away when mismatched pieces of pizza arrive at the table, an obvious dig at Chuck E Cheese.
We realize that the birthday boy stole the keys off of the employee, and uses them to start the show. Pandory the panda, an extremely creepy animatronic, begins to talk. He introduces himself, and our Birthday Boy introduces himself as Aidan. Pandory asks if he should put on a show, when Aidan says yes. Pandory asks for a hug, as Aidan becomes increasingly nervous. We look behind Pandory, and see his tail is wagging insanely fast. His animatronic arms close around Aidan, as he asks to be removed from the hug.
Pandory then begins to hug harder and harder, and his eyes roll back into his head. When they roll back out, they are covered in blood, as his nails dig into Aidan’s back. The stage closes, and Pandory’s mask falls off, showing a monstrous face. It falls to the floor, as we cut away from the horrific scene. We hear Aidan’s screams, as his friends see Pandory smiling a devilish smile at his victim. The technician hears his screams, and finds his keys not in his waist. He runs over, saying oh no over and over again. He gets to the stage, as Pandory’s eyes become devilish. Aidan’s arm then shoots out of his mouth, and the film ends.
That was the end of The Hug! I really liked this short film, and it did indeed get me even more excited for FNAF. I hope you all enjoyed it! Remember, don’t be shy… give Pandory a hug…
