Pop Poetry – Miss Me More

Beau Romanowski, Staff Writer

I miss you now, and I missed you then

Give me a way, to fight for more

Come back to me, as you left me dead

I cannot borrow, and I cannot beg

Only to curl up within my core

I miss you now and I missed you then

The time for tears has all been spent.

But before they start to pour

Come back to me, as you left me dead

And though I weep I’m at my end,

I need you now, please hear my roar

I miss you now and I missed you then

The arms of the clock have wrapped ‘around your neck

The water is quick and brings you before

Come back to me, as you left me dead

With the weather and emotion still abusing my head

I love me now, and love me more

I miss you now and I missed you then,

Come back to me as you left me dead.
