I try to remember so much

That I forget why I forgot

And now I just wish everything I knew reset

So I can make my own opinions again

I feel like I’ve been rewired so many times

My motherboard can’t take the RAM or memory sticks

And I am cracking with every circuit and alloy

It lights on fire because

I used to have fire

But I feel like damp pine never lighting

Hopeful at every spark

But knowing that as this cycle is repeating

Nothing will change until I do
