Pop Poetry: Fear (Part Two)

Beau Romanowski, Staff Writer

As I lay I am reminded of a reason I fell for you

I struggle with demons that prey on me in my sleep

Devouring my clear state of mind

Making me fear for my life

When nothing poses me much threat

Because I remember now that although you’d make me fear for the rest of my life

I would never have to fear when I rest

Because I had you holding a torch to guide my mind to pleasant nothingness
