Patriot Players Ready to Get “All Shook Up”
March 12, 2015
The Patriot Players present the musical “All Shook Up,” inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley. It’s 1955, and into a square little town in a square little state rides a guitar-playing roustabout who changes everything and everyone he meets in this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy that’ll have you jumpin’ out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don’t Be Cruel.”
The musical is designed and directed by FTHS drama teacher Patt Giblin. Choreogrpahy is by English teacher Kim Richardson, with vocal direction by vocal music teacher Susan Conners. The musical director and pit conductor is FTHS music teacher Edward Gattsek, with assistance from Daniel Crawford, instrumental music teacher at Clifton T. Barkalow Middle School.
The musical will be presented on March 12 at 7:00 p.m., March 13 at 7:00 p.m., and on March 14 at 1:00 and 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $12 general admission, and $6 for students and senior citizens.
