Kim And Taylor Make Amends

For two years, Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift have been having a very public feud. This started in 2016 when Kim’s husband, Kanye West, released his song “Famous,” with some of the lyrics speaking negatively of Taylor. Kanye claimed that he had previously approved the lyrics with Taylor, but Taylor’s team refuted this. Eventually, Kim posted a video of the conversation between the two artists. Later on, Taylor created the song “Look What You Made Me Do,” with intentions to hit back at the couple.

Recently, Kim revealed that she’s “over it” and feels “like we’ve all moved on.” It is reported that Kim has been forced to be nice to Taylor after the singer signed with Universal, which owns E! Network and produces Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Taylor has not said anything about her and Kim making up.

Cardi Delves Into Politics

Cardi B took to social media to go on a rant about Donald Trump and the government shutdown. After this, American conservative political commentator and former television host Tomi Lahren commented on Cardi’s views by tweeting “Looks like @iamcardib is the latest genius political mind to endorse the Democrats. HA! Keep it up, guys! #MAGA2020”. Cardi and Tomi went back and forth on Twitter and even Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez jumped in on the conversation. She tweeted, “Why do people think they can mess around with Bronx women without getting roasted? They act as though our borough hasn’t been perfecting the clapback game since the Sugarhill Gang…ya’ll just found it on Twitter.” Tomi Lahren then goes on to respond to Alexandria, and it looks as if this isn’t the end of this argument.

Grande’s Sorry

Ariana Grande’s new single “7 Rings” has been compared to the song “Mine” by Princess Nokia. Princess Nokia posted a video of her listening to a sample of the song “7 Rings” and pausing the song periodically to point out similarities between this song and her song. In response, Ariana posted on Instagram, “You like my hair? Gee thanks, just bought it! White women talking about their weaves is how we’re gonna solve racism.” After this post was reposted by The Shade Room, Ariana took to the comments to apologize, saying, “I’m so sorry if my response was out of pocket or if it came across the wrong way. Thanks for opening the conversation and like…to everyone to talking to me about it. It’s never my intention to offend anybody.” Grande claims that this single was influenced by a shopping spree she went on with her best friends after breaking up with her ex-fiance Pete Davidson. Soulja Boy and 2Chainz have also involved themselves with this feud, Soulja Boy claiming that Grande is a “thief” and copied his song “Pretty Boy Swag.”

Meghan Shuts Down

Meghan Markle had created a fake Instagram account to follow her friends, and after many people commented mean and taunting things, she made the decision to shut it down. It is reported that the Duchess felt “isolated and alone” and deleted the account to “protect her mental health.” For the most part, the members of the royal family don’t have social media accounts, the exception including Princess Beatrice and Eugenie.
