Nothing was going to stop Alaina Lardaro from being a Freehold Township High School cheerleader.

Not the scheduling to balance this new activity with school, work and her other activities, modeling and competitive swimming. Not the hours of practice it took for her to learn dozens of cheers and the dance routines.

And certainly not Down syndrome.
