Name: Richard Norton

Why do you want to be in Mr. FTHS?
I want to be in Mr. FTHS because it is a huge school event that I’ve attended since freshman year and couldn’t wait to do it when I was a senior.

 

What does Freehold Township HS mean to you?

FTHS means so much to me. It’s grown on me and shaped me into the man I am today.

 

What clubs/activities/hobbies are you involved with at FTHS or outside of FTHS?

I am involved in National Honor Society, varsity football, and Octagon club inside FTHS. Outside of school, I lifeguard at the Y, volunteer at my church, but, most importantly, play Rec Basketball.

 

How would you describe yourself?

I would describe myself as a kind, Catholic boy who’s always looking out for the best interest of others, but, most of all, I’m a goofball.

 

Being Mr. FTHS is a huge honor. Why do you think you have what it takes to be Mr. FTHS?

I think I have what it takes cause I’m well-rounded, smart, athletic, dashing looks, sensitive, everything you need to be Mr. FTHS.

 

Who is your favorite person and why?

My favorite person is my dad. I always look up to him for being the dad I want to be when I become one.

 

What do you love most about FTHS?

I love everything about it, but most importantly, I love the people that go here, my friends, my class, everyone. They really make this high school great.

 

Where do you see yourself ten years from now?

I see myself living a good life making some money and living in a nice house in the suburbs.

 

Describe your ideal date?

My ideal date starts with a nice long car ride with a deep conversation going to a nice, fancy restaurant where my date and I will have delicious meals. At the end our meal, I’ll offer to pay, but my date won’t let me.

 

What is your passion in life?

My passion in life is making others happy, which plays a big role as to why I want to go into a healthcare profession.
