“I Hope This Comes Back to Haunt You” by Neck Deep

This song is one of those songs that should be listened to after a hard break up. Throughout the song, it explains that in a bad situation like this people need to realize that life goes on and it’s not going to hurt forever. I like this song because it passes along a very good message. The message is to take your time healing and fixing the broken parts. Once you pick up the pieces it’s easier to fix. This song talks about how the person who left will get their payback and feel the pain that the other person felt.
“We Are The Kids” by Walk The Moon

This is a very uplifting and happy song that would be played during one of those super corny teen movies where they’re getting ready for school in a way that is better and more joyful than everyone’s morning routine. This song is very catchy and halfway through listening you will easily be tapping your foot or moving in some way. The song itself explains that we are the kids who decide the future for everyone else.
“Juke Jam” by Chance The Rapper (ft Justin Bieber and Towkio)

This is a slow r&b sounding song explaining the development stages of liking someone. They explain throughout the song that they would be the perfect person for someone and how they were once close friends that fell for each other. The second verse is very good in my opinion because it actually gives a visual of what the song is talking about: the setting of the song is then roller skating listening to songs and all of the kids around them seeing older people dating. The song also has a background noise that sounds just like a public setting with small talk being portrayed which I think is a great aspect to it, it really adds to the feel of it being at a roller rink.
“Why” by Bazzi

This is a song that starts with little music but you can tell that it is set up like that to have a drop to emphasize it. I think that adds a lot to the song, and makes it better. The actual song explains how he is not good for a girl and being in her life will cause many altercations. I like this song because it seems like they talk about problems that occur very often in today’s society and songs that have a connection to the listeners are always 10 times better. This is a song when you like someone who is not good for you and you know that they aren’t good but you can’t help it.
“Brb” by SWMRS

This song starts off loud and cheerful and never dies down until it’s over, its a very positive sounding song. The song explains how when you really like someone you probably shouldn’t and when you just blatantly open the door for them exposing every last bit of you. Throughout the song, the person they like is going to tear up their heart and ruin them but it’s all being allowed and encouraged because they already like the person so much.
