Olivia Naum: How many years have you participated in BOTC?

Kelsey Gilroy: This will be my third year in BOTC.

ON: Why did you decide to do BOTC?

KG: I decided to sign up for BOTC my freshman year because I knew some of the upperclassmen that said it was a great experience.

ON: What are you most excited about for this year’s BOTC?

KG: For this year, I am most excited for the night of BOTC. Not being able to do this our junior year was very disappointing, so now that we are able to have it this year just makes me excited for everything. I am excited to see what other grades bring to the table as well.

ON: What is the key to winning BOTC?

KG: I obviously do not want to give this away, but many people underestimate the importance of placing in the events.
