Nov. Outstanding Student Participant of the Month (Female): Kylie Frew, Artist
What does your club do?
We practice and build upon art skills by exploring different art styles/concepts that we could not normally do during school. Also participate in Haunted High School and Character Breakfast.
What happens during club meetings?
We try out new art styles, like light painting and fabric painting. We plan and prepare for the character breakfast and Haunted High School.
How can people get involved in your club?
Just come to the meetings after school. Not everyone goes to every meeting, some only come to meetings where we work on things that interest them. It’s really easy to join Art Club.
What are your club’s goals/upcoming events?
To encourage the spread of art by always asking people if they want to join and our biggest event, the character breakfast, is coming up so we are preparing costumes for the face painting part of the event.

From the Advisor: “Kylie has taken great initiative in all things but most especially the Art Club. She is without a doubt one of the strongest artists I have ever taught and the most responsible. Whether it is an event or an after school meeting, Kylie takes the leadership position and is much like a teacher’s aide. Kylie has gone above and beyond the call of duty. She truly is an outstanding student!”
