Title: Family Creations Mixed Media: Pencil and Acrylic Paint Size: 37.8 cm x 37.8 cm Explanation of Intent: This piece signifies my family through a self portrait of myself. I included a record to show our love for music, a fan that my grandmother gave to me, and a sunflower to represent the happiness of my family. This piece is able to show how even small objects in my life effect me and how much of an important role my family plays. I put the whole piece on a canvas board painted in bright colors to signify the bright and happy feeling my family brings into my life.
