After all of the excitement, the Patriot Press got to interview some team members from the freshmen team, junior team and senior team.

Halle Bascone from the freshmen team reflected on what it was like to compete in her first BOTC. “It was an amazing experience, we built such a great bond and they’re like a second family.”

Matt Madonna said, “The roar of the crowd got me hype,” when talking about his grade routing for him while he was the star of the dance.

Finally, from the freshmen team, Melanie Amoroso said, “It was one of my greatest high school experiences so far and it was nice to get so close with the team.”

Gianna Micalizzi from the junior team said, “The competition was hard this year, but we tried our best and put all our time into BOTC. Even though we got third place, we’re still proud of ourselves.” Also, the rest of the junior team wanted to add that they felt that some of the younger teams did not have some good sportsmanship, but they are still happy to have competed.

Finally, from the winning senior team, Nick Coluccio said, “It was great to win, but overall the night was a lot of fun and memories were made. That’s what it’s all about.”

Congratulations to the seniors on a great win!
