HS football: Freehold Township more than a good offense

That adage about teams with no-huddle, spread offenses never getting decent support from the defense? Freehold Township is doing its part to put that to rest.
The Patriots’ defense put together a solid effort for the second straight week in a 44-7 thumping of Colts Neck on Saturday in a Shore Conference Class A North game Saturday. No. 10 Freehold Township (2-0, 2-0) has yielded just over 300 yards combined in its two games.
