**SPOILERS AHEAD, SO READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION**

February 26th, 2016 is finally here. This day has been anticipated by many people because they have all been waiting to binge-watch the Full House spin-off series called Fuller House. Even though the name is because “Fuller” is now DJ and her children’s last name, Fuller House does justice for the series because it is in the same exact house but even “fuller.” (Yea, believe it or not, but the house actually could get more full.) At one point in the original show, there were 4 adults and 5 kids in that house yet that still isn’t as much as it is when the show starts off.

This series is only on Netflix and it consists of one season with thirteen episodes. The original characters DJ Tanner, Stephanie Tanner, Danny Tanner, Jesse Katsolopis, Becky Katsolopis, Nicky and Alex Katsolopis, Kimmy Gibler, Steve Hale and Joey Gladstone all come back with their same actors.

The one character missing is Michelle Tanner, played by both Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen. In the first episode, Danny Tanner says that the reason Michelle can’t come home is because she is busy in New York running her “fashion empire.” The whole cast turns to the camera for a long and awkward stare. The show could have decided to ignore the awkward situation of Michelle just not being in the show, but instead decided to laugh it off and bring it up in first few minutes.

The first episode is called “Our Very First Show, Again.” This new series does not try to be its own separate show. They refer to the old series constantly, always bringing up jokes and fan-favorite memories. The show holds the same feel as Full House did, with the only difference being that everyone is grown.

The show even makes more adult references and uses mature humor, which shows how not only the beloved characters have grown up, but so has the show as well. At one point, one of DJ’s sons even says, “I already know all the bad words. Darn, Booger, and Donald Trump.” This show takes risks in some of the things it says, but it sure will make the viewers laugh.

To catch up, Danny Tanner still owns their original family house. All the viewers know and remember this house inside and out. From the red door to the basement where Joey lived to the hallway upstairs outside their rooms, we know and love it all. He is now moving to  LA along with Becky and Jesse. Becky and Danny are going for a job to continue co-hosting talk shows. Jesse is going to be a music composer for General Hospital. Becky and Jesse’s sons, Nicky and Alex, are all grown up and almost out of college.

Joey is working in Las Vegas as a comedian. He never lost her childish touch; he wears his cartoon pajamas and still uses Mr. Woodchuck. Also, the saying “Cut, It, Out” will NEVER get old.

DJ owns a pet clinic and lives in her old house with her three boys. Her sons names are Max, Jackson and Tommy. It turns out that DJ’s husband died and that’s why she moved back in with her dad for some help. She says he died fighting fires and helping other which is what he loved doing. Everyone was hoping that her husband was Steve, but that dream comes to an end when you see Steve walk into the house saying hello to everybody.

He walks into the goodbye party they are throwing for Danny, Jesse and Becky. There is still an obvious connection between him and DJ. Steve even hints at taking another chance to try at a  relationship again. They don’t have a serious conversation about it, so both characters just laugh it off.

Stephanie, all grown, walks into the house with everybody there in the beginning of the episode and has a British accent. She says it’s because she was just in London and the accent stuck. A few moments later, when Kimmy Gibler walks in, Stephanie breaks out her “How rude!” comment as Kimmy puts her foot on the dining room table. The comment comes out in an American accent and Steph no longer has her British accent. Steph is into her music and is always traveling around the world and living an extravagant life.

There are also some new characters in this series now. We have a Mrs. Tanner, yes a Mrs. Tanner! Danny is married to a beautiful woman who we only meet briefly but she is also going to LA with Danny.

Another character we meet is Fernando. Fernando is Kimmy Gibler’s ex-husband. It was definitely a surprise to all for Kimmy to have actually found a man. It’s another surprise when he says he is in love with her and wants her back. Kimmy blows him off and Ramona, their daughter, walks into the house as he leaves.

Everyone else will be leaving, doing their own thing, besides DJ. The house is getting sold, and her and her three boys are going to be moving somewhere smaller. She has a breakdown when she was with her baby, Tommy. She is saying how now they’ll be all alone and she is scared, but the baby monitor picked up the sound and Kimmy, Steph, Danny, Jesse and Becky all heard.

When DJ comes down, they all say how they can’t leave her. But, Steph steps in and tells her dad, her Uncle Jesse, and Aunt Becky to go, and she will help DJ with the kids. Kimmy Gibler also says she will help, and it is clear that Stephanie still hasn’t grown a liking for her. Danny even says that he is going to keep the house for them to continue to live in.

Now DJ and her kids, Kimmy and her daughter, and Steph will all be living in the same old iconic house. Oh, and we can’t forget about Comet Jr Jr Jr. In this episode, Comet Jr Jr, Steve’s dog, went into labor and gave birth to a puppy who Max begged his mother to keep.

Full House was a show about three men, Danny, Joey and Jesse, who took care of three girls, DJ, Stephanie and Michelle. Fuller House is now a show about three women, DJ, Stephanie and Kimmy, who will take care of three boys, Jackson, Max and Tommy.

This episode made people cry, laugh and smile through every second of it. It brings you back in time to moments of sitting on your couch, eating cereal on an early morning, watching Full House. It brings you back to laughing over the same silly things that the girls would do. It brings you back to crying over moments in the show where they discussed serious topics such as the girls’ mom.

The last part of this episode is a dedication. It reads, “In Loving Memory of Arlen Coulier, Carole Franklin, Dolly Saget, Laretta Stamos (They would have loved this).” Coulier, Saget and Stamos are the mothers of Joey, Danny and Jesse. Franklin is the mother of Jeff Franklin, the creator of the show. All four of these men lost their mothers within a year and dedicated the episode to them. .

On and off the set, the cast of Full House will always be a family, even 20 years later. Fuller House is a show for everybody and if you haven’t started watching, then add it to your to-do list. It is available on Netflix and if you don’t have Netflix, find a friend that does because this surely isn’t a show you would want to miss!
